For Blogtober Day 10 I thought since it is the month of Halloween, which anyone who knows me will know I never really liked Halloween until I had started uni and had a reason to celebrate Halloween, It is now a bit of an obsession. From the unreal amount of decorations, we feel necessary and the amount of Halloween films we will watch daily from yesterday. In honour of one Halloween film I hadn’t watched until Last year which quickly became a favourite – Practical Magic, I thought for today’s post we could talk all things witchy reads. One of my favourite places to go for things like this is The Works, as they have a bunch of weird and wonderful books.
Can we just take a moment to appreciate how beautiful the cover of these books are!! Like honestly they are the cutest things ever! We also need to stop and take a moment to thank my amazing best friend for her amazing photography skills and creativity. You can find her over on her blog something a little different to mine but for anyone who loves travel, hers is a must-read.
1. The House Witch – Murphy-Hiscock
For anyone who wants to learn the witchy way to a magical and homey house, this one is for you. If you like growing herbs and learning how to create a calm and inviting environment in your home this is the perfect book for you.
2. The Witchcraft Handbook
This one I just love because just look at how pretty the cover is. It talks you through ways of feeling more control of your life using witchy methods but I kind of love that! It talks all things herbs to crystals and anyone who knows me knows I love crystals.
3. The Little Book of Witchcraft
This is actually my favourite because it is pocketsized but just like the others is full of little witchy tips and tricks! I love that it has such a simple cover but it looks so amazing on a bookshelf.
What is your favourite witchy read?
