Day 22 of Blogtober calls for a little pumpkin carving! I love carving pumpkins but I also just love scrolling through Pinterest and Instagram and checking out how creative people can be with pumpkins. I know that when I have my own house around this time of year it will be full of decorations and pumpkins so I thought I would share with you our creations of this year! Get together with your friends and carve some pumpkins this year we had a girl day and then spent the evening carving pumpkins!
We honestly went everywhere for pumpkins as we forgot it was a Sunday and that the shops shut earlier than during the week but we picked up a few pumpkins as you can see.
I started with my biggest pumpkin and I just have to mention how much guts and seeds that came from this pumpkin it was never-ending.
I had decided after looking at some inspiration that at least one of my pumpkins would have to be the nightmare before Christmas themed as it is one of my favorite movies! This was the outcome and I am kinda in love with it!
I then also created a cute upside-down bat which I loved but I forgot how fiddly the little bits are especially when its on a tiny pumpkin but I love how it looks with a candle in it!
The three pumpkins we made! It turns out carving pumpkins makes a really good idea for a girl’s night! I think the different designs really show who we are! It was so much fun to do even if I do not like scooping pumpkin guts!
What would you carve into your pumpkin?
