Today I thought I would do something a little different a post that was suggested to me by one of my favourite people. Consider it a form of collaboration (ideas and brainpower). With all the confusion and uncertainty that has struck the last week or so and will continue to do so until we are more informed we thought it would be a good idea to compile a list of all the things you can do whilst Self-Isolating/Social Distancing.
Here is the list of 10 things you could do:
1. Watch some of your favourite films
Why not spend the time watching something you love. Taking care of This for me would include rewatching The Breakfast Club for the hundredth time or trying to watch as many classics as possible. What better time to grab a blanket and get all cosy with a great film and even maybe grab a take away. (what better time to help the local businesses)
2. Finally read that book
You yes you! That book that has been sat on your shelf waiting to be read when you had the time. Pick it up and start reading it. For me, this book is a classic that I have never quite got round to reading but know that it needs to be done! It is a classic for a reason right.
3. Pamper yourself
In a time where our mental health could take a hit, it seems like the perfect time to take a time out! Grab a kit-kat and take a break. Use this time to pamper yourself both physically and mentally. Take time to do the pamper routine that makes you feel so much better. Maybe do some meditation, listen to an audiobook or do some yoga! Whatever it takes to make yourself feel better.
4. Bake something you love
For some baking is very therapeutic so why not give it a try. Bake something you really enjoy whether that be cake, biscuits or something savoury! My Favourite thing to bake is Lemon Drizzle Cake so this would be something I would want to bake. Although right now the cravings for Scones is unreal.
5. Make a Plan for the future
Keep yourself motivated and positive for the future, start thinking about your goals and manifesting the things you want.

6. Call Someone you love
During times like this, you realise just how important friends and family are to you. Call the people you love the most, you never know they may just really need it.
7. Use this time for things you put to one side
Have you been putting off that deep clean of your house, work that is taking longer than you thought or even taking that leap that could push you further towards your dreams? Use this time to come up with an action plan and start pushing it forward.
8. Play some Boardgames
Spend time with your friends and family. Those who live with you. Put your electronics down for a couple hours and play some board games or games you can do together. Make the most of having those people around you.
9. Learn a new skill
Why not spend this time learning a new skill. If you have always wanted to learn a language what better time? Maybe you want to learn how to write that book you have always wanted to. Spend the time you have to work on bettering yourself!
10. Create a playlist
It is a known fact that music has the power to change our moods, so why not create a new feel-good playlist with all your favourite songs! Songs that just make you want to get up and dance, smile and give off the happy vibes. Let’s do all we can to keep a positive mind!
