Welcome to Blogmas Day 10! And a Winter Q&A to keep things nice and festive. I hope all are having the best run up to Christmas! I wasn’t sure about what to post for today or whether or not there was going to be a blogmas today but we have some exciting news from a friend of mine that just had to be shared at the end of this post! I thought it was best to keep things simple with a Winter Q and A.
What are your favourite things about Winter?
How cosy home feels when it’s cold outside, Spiced apple , Christmas food, snow, Christmas, spending time with family and friends. Also wrapping presents. This year one of the things I have loved the most about winter is being able to get my own decorations for my little flat. It is funny how it really is the little things that mean the most as you get older.
What is your favourite winter outfit?
A cosy knitted jumper, or dress tights and boots! However this being said this year I have been more drawn to longer dresses and ankle boots but layering it with a coat. Anyone who knows me well will know that I often refuse to wear a coat.
What is your favourite Winter Food?
Christmas dinner! Or this being said one of my favourite things about Christmas is the markets and the food at the Christmas markets. However we know this year Christmas markets won’t be a thing so I am very much looking forward to a Christmas Dinner with my family.
What is your favourite Winter Drink?
Mulled Spiced Apple is one of my newly decided favourite drinks for the weekend. However I also Hot Chocolate is one of my favourite drinks for the winter time.
What is your dream way to spend a Winters Day?
Cuddled up with a hot chocolate, in my pjs with a blanket on the sofa with the heating on, watching a festive film. That or a good book. This time of year A CHRISTMAS CAROL is a must read.
How do you like to do your makeup in the Winter?
I like to wear darker lip colour.
What are you hoping Santa brings you?
There are a few books on my list this year but more than anything I just want to be able to spend time with my favourite people. It has been hard this year not being able to see people as much as I would like to.
What are the first three things that remind you of Winter?
Cinnamon Everything, Christmas Markets and Dark evenings.
What is your favorite Winter Song?
I’ve answered this one before, and Merry Christmas Everyone by Shakin Stevens was my answer however I have changed that to Driving Home For Christmas by Chris Rea as my favourite song this year. It gives me such warm vibes.
What is your favorite Winter Memory?
How magical Christmas was as a child. Especially lying in bed on Christmas Eve getting excited for Santa to visit. Spending Christmas Eve with my sister and nephews. One of my favourite winter memories is going to see the London Christmas Lights being turned on during my first year of university and Matt Terry was performing and I do not think I could have been happier.
What is your favorite Winter Scent?
Anything Spiced Apple and Cinnamon scented. Also adding to the list this year the one of my favourite scents comes in the form of a candle and it is the DW Warm Tobacco Pipe candle. I have definitely mentioned it before.
Finish this sentence… If I could have anything this Christmas, it would be…
To see my friends and family. I also cannot wait to get back into the theatre therefore this is also on the list for this year.
