We are so close to the end of Blogmas it is crazy we only have 9 Days left! 9! With that in mind I thought I would Share with you yet another Christmassy book review! This time a little different because it is almost two in one!
Two sparkling Christmas reads from the multi-million selling ultimate Queen of Romance!
When it comes to women Prince Bennett has always enjoyed a challenge. So after meeting the quiet and beautiful Lady Hannah Rothschild the dashing prince cannot rest until he breaks through her careful reserve. Love has always been a game to Bennett but with this elusive, mysterious woman he discovers his heart is on the line and he’s playing for keeps…
Her legacy has been as much a curse as a blessing so Anastasia Donovan has learned to keep it hidden but when single dad Boone Sawyer swept into her heart she longed to reveal everything despite her fear of the consequences. Then fate stepped in.
One thing I loved most about this book is that there are two stories within one book and I love the fact I was not expecting it. Within The Magic of Christmas there is ‘The Playboy Prince” and “Charmed” these stories are both so different from each other and I think that is what I loved the most.
Within The Playboy Prince we are introduced to Prince Bennett and his family who have some conflict with an old enemy of theirs, however that enemy is soon to be let out of prison. When a new person enters the palace they catch the eye of the Prince but can they be trusted? Are they what they seem to be?
However in Charmed (my favourite of the two, you will see why if you know me well) we are introduced to three cousins who are all witches! The story follows the character Anastacia Donovan who is a witch who can not only feel the pain of others but also take it away from them. The story takes a twist when she meets a single dad and she ends up falling for him due to being able to feel the pain he feels due to being a single dad. But will this single dad want Anastacia when he discovers she’s a witch?
These two stories have once already been released as parts of two different series and both are the third story within their series. Even though this was the case I found them very easy to catch up and read them as stand alone novels. For me I found them both very enjoyable to read but found myself falling in love with the characters from charmed more.
Who does not want a little extra magic this Christmas!
Have you read these yet? What are your thoughts!
