The Anonymous Bookaholic tag

Happy January!

I hope everyone is safe and well. Today, I thought we would have a little fun this Wednesday and so I am doing the Anonymous Bookaholic tag. I was tagged to do this a couple of days ago by the wonderful Danni @_ForBooksSake. Thank you for the tag I had so much fun answering the questions it has been a while since I have done a tag.

1 – What do you like about buying new books?

I cannot be the only one who just loves being able to spend time browsing the bookshops. I think that one of my favourite things about buying new books is that I know I will always leave with an unexpected purchase.

2 – How often do you buy new books?

Honestly not as much as I would like to but I would say at least ones a month.

3 – Bookstore or online book shopping: which do you prefer?

BOOKSTORE! There is nothing like a good browse around a bookshop. As sad as it sounds bookshops are one of my favourite places to be and often to people watch because I find it so interesting to find out what people are buying.

4 – Do you have a favourite bookshop?

Oh I have so many favourite bookshops but I must admit that the Boon Books bookshop in Lewes is one of my favourites. Also the 15th century bookshop in Lewes if I happen to catch it when it is open. I also really love the City Books bookshop in Hove they always have the most beautiful window displays and the nicest staff.

5 – Do you pre-order books?

very rarely but if it is a book by someone I know I like I may pre-order

6 – Do you have a monthly buying limit?

Nope. I should but it is also very rare that I will go on a massive book spree, as I mentioned before I do not buy books as often as I would like to.

7 – How big is your wishlist?

In all honesty we know it is forever growing so at this point who knows

8 – Which three books from your wishlist do you wish to own right now?

Only 3 AHHHH okay let me think…. I would have to go for

  • The Bridgerton Books because I hate to admit it but I am obsessed with the series and must have more of the Duke immediately
  • A Discovery of Witches – Deborah Harkness
  • Women Don’t Owe You Pretty- Florence Given

I’m Tagging:

I hope you all have a great week.

Let me know what 3 books from your wishlist would you chose?

Love Always,

Gee xoxo

  1. Hmm. I buy so many books that my to-read list contains more than 1000. Many are free, but I paid for most. One of my greatest joys is trying a novel in a non-favorite genre and discovering that I can’t put it down.
