A Little Magic and Sparkle

Happy March!

I hope you are all well and keeping safe! With spring just around the corner I thought I would do another quotes post as that seemed to go down well with everyone on the Valentine’s Day post! However today we are talking all things Spring! With the longer days and hopefully a little more sunshine it is only right to share with you my favourite book quotes about spring!

The Secret Garden is one of my all time favourite books and one of the first books I remember reading as a teen. Therefore it is no surprise when putting this list together I had to put this quote on the list.

We all know that I love Virginia Woolf and this is a quote I often think about because for me Autumn is one of my favourite seasons, and I wonder if this will change as I grow older.

Spring Walks are something I enjoy and I feel this quote embodies all my favourite things about going for a daily walk especially when the scenery is constantly changing. There is something incredibly special about taking a moment to breath in the Spring air and just take five minutes out to just relax.

Again we are back with Les Miserables! I actually think I may have to go back and reread it. I forgot how much I love this book and it is the second time it has been included in my favourite quotes.

I had to include this quote because I love how it looks at the idea of constant change and how bad days no matter how bad are exactly that a bad day there is always opportunity for rebirth.

Great Expectations is another one of my favourite ‘classic novels’ and it would be completely wrong for me to include one of my favourite quotes that literally feels me with so much warmth and familiar as all that is described is exactly how I picture spring.

What are some of your favourite book quotes about Spring?

Love Always,

Gee xoxo
