73 Questions About Me: A Vogue Parody

Happy Friday!

I cannot believe it is half way through August already. How crazy is it that this year seems to be going so so quickly. ]

This post I first attempted back in 2019 when I was nominated to do this challenge by Jordyn from The Chronically Unimaginable blog. The challenge is a Vogue Magazine parody that is currently trending in the blogger-sphere right now! I thought as I had a little time this would be a fun thing to do. However I figure that in almost 3 years later my answers may or may not have changed so an updated version was needed.

Let’s get onto answering those questions, shall we? (The rules and my nominations are found below my answers.)

The Challenge:

1. What is your usual Starbucks order?

It is very rare that I go into Starbucks recently but when I do go into Starbucks my go-to order kinda stays the same it will be a White Mocha either warm or iced depending on the weather. If I am feeling fancy I would get a iced white mocha with peppermint syrup. It tastes like a candy cane and let’s be real here we know I am living for this.

2. What does your work station look like right now?

My work station is currently my bed. At the moment I am back at home whilst I am between places so I do not really have a work space. Therefore my bed works well enough for now.

3. All-time favorite food?

My favorite food would have to anything with pasta really. However at the moment I have been loving Chicken Kievs and Salad so I guess I would go with that.

4. Favorite Author?

My favorite author of all time is a hard question to answer as there are so many authors that I adore. When I was younger I was obsessed with Jacqueline Wilson so she has to be up there on favourite. Now I really like Cecelia Ahern has to be up there as my favourite author. This being said I also love Josie Jaffery because who does not love stories about Vampires.

5. What do you think of open relationships?

Like Jordyn, I do not think I would not enter into an open relationship. Personally I would struggle with the concept however I certainly admire people who this works for.

6. What is your favorite video game?

I do not really play video games so I do not have an answer for this one. However as a child I used to play the Stuart Little computer game anytime I was at my Nans. So I guess that would be my answer.

7. Guilty Pleasure treat?

I have a small unhealthy addiction to Chocolate oranges so I would say that or popcorn. I wonder if as a side note I could include marvel in this. Listen the Marvel universe sometimes takes over my life but I blame Tik Tok and Hiddleston.

8. Favorite Movie?

My favourite film is The Breakfast Club an oldie but a great film.

9. Favorite book?

Again this is hard because if you know me well you will know the extent to my book collection. I have to say that my favourite book is also a classic and is my answer anytime anyone asks is Sherlock Holmes. Any of them.

10. Twitter or Instagram?

I use both platforms a lot but I tend to find myself scrolling through twitter the most so I would have to say that.

11. Desktop or laptop?

Laptop 100% I have not used a desktop for use at home in a long time.

12. Best advice you’ve ever received?

The best advice I’ve ever received before I used to say it came from a film but actually the best advice I received came from a therapy session. She told me that no dream is to big, if you can visualise yourself living the life you dream of, then nothing is stopping you putting in the work to create that life.

13. What project are you working on right now?

I guess you could say working on this blog is my current project. This answer is very similar to the last time but specifically at the moment I am very focused on Blogtober and Blogtober content.

14. Favorite color?

Yes and no. I got some good grades that allowed me to do the course I wanted at college and then go on to uni. I just wish I had gotten better grades in my sciences.

16. Dream job?

For a long time I wanted to be a marine biologist but as I said above I was not the best at science. When I answered this last time there was a lot of I guesses. This time it is a little different.

My Dream Job would be working within the PR industry and doing this full time. My blog is always something I want to do more of, if I could make it successful and into a full time secure job… that would be my dream job.

I would also like to publish a book.

  1. You had a few really interesting answers in there and I definitely enjoyed reading this. I think Alpacas are very cute and I definitely cried a whole lot when I read the Fault in Our Stars.
