A little magic and sparkle

Happy September my lovelies,

Now I know what you are thinking is it not a little early for Christmas content. (To which I say is it ever too early for christmas content).

When I received the message from the lovely …. I just knew I had to get involved and review this one. It is a little different from me this time as it is a children’s book but as someone who has 5 nephews and a Niece, I think I am qualified for this review. Also if you do not know already I am a Christmas enthusiast I love me the Christmas Period. I am pretty sure in a past life I was a Christmas Elf…

Synopsis:

It’s Christmas Eve with the hoglets.

Prickles and Primrose are excited. That is until… As they decorate the Christmas tree they discover the star for the top has shattered. Not to be defeated, the brave hoglets set out into the woods to seek a substitute star but stumble across Santa instead.

What adventure will they encounter?

AND… what about the star?

If you love Winnie the Pooh you’ll fall in love with the hoglets, Prickles and Primrose, from Briar Wood.

The Author:

A reader from the age of five, Lynette Creswell began writing at school and  with inspirations from the works of Enid Blyton and the Twilight series, eventually became an author – with a little push in the right direction. She began with a fantasy trilogy; the first of them entitled Sinners Of Magic. It was released in 2012 and received attention from film producers on both sides of the Atlantic.

One of her short stories, The Witching Hour, was made for television and narrated by the actress Julie Peasgood. Hoglet’s Christmas Magic was released a week ago and is her sixth published book. Lynette lives in Lincolnshire with her husband.

Who doesn’t love Christmas Hoglets. Does this sound like the book for you?

Love Always,

Gee xoxo
