Blogtober Day 7: National Poetry Day!

Happy Blogtober!

I hope you are all enjoying the Blogtober content so far this October! We are stepping away a little from the ‘halloween’ themed content today as it is National Poetry Day and I thought it would a good way to celebrate that today with a little post based on the event.

I thought as a way to celebrate the National Poetry Day whilst keeping on theme of Blogtober I would share with you my favourite poems about about Autumn/Fall and my favourite Halloween (spooky) Poem. At the end as well I tell you about a little company I am sure you have heard of before, if you like poetry why not get some sent to your door and help small businesses and artists at the same time but for now here is my favourite poems.

My Favourite Autumn/fall poem is:

This one was a tough one because I was stuck between to two but here we are!

My Favourite Halloween poem is:

Poems By Post:

Poems By Post if you have been around for a little while you will of heard of them before,

Poems By Post is a subscription service which was created by a street poet called Alex during the first lockdown. This platform has been created to support the arts, small business and also has donated to several different charities. The platform was created to give a voice to the arts and to small business, whilst really trying to champion their voices.

Changing the world with one poem at at time.

Poems By Post is a subscription service which allows you to get a poem in the post every month (yep, it does what it says on the tin). Each month the poet changes and alongside the poet there is a hugely talented artist, who creates art work inspired by the poem.

Not only are you receiving a poem in the post you are helping to support so many small businesses and creative minds.

I hope you all get a chance to stop and read some poems on National Poetry Day! I really should start reading more poetry but I always seem to run to a fictional novel rather than poetry! Maybe that will be my goal for this month!

What is your favourite piece of poetry or your favourite poet?

Love Always,

Gee xo
