I hope you have all enjoyed Blogmas and have had the most wonderful December. It however is that time of year again and is time for my wrap up of 2021. How quickly this year has flown. It has been a year of ups and downs and I thought I would share with you some of my favourite memories of 2021.
Happy New year my loves.
I changed my hair colour… I am still obsessed with this Green…Maybe I will bring it back for 2022.
It snowed. But actually turned out to be an incredibly quiet month and was mainly spent on uni work and actually working.
I explored more of brighton… well technically this was just outside of Brighton. But exploring Brighton will always be one of my favourite things to do.
I spent more time exploring Brighton with some of my favourite people. This photo was after so many attempts but I just had the giggles.
Harry Styles was filming My Policeman in Brighton… thanks to him and the dedication of a bunch of weirdos (me included) I found some of my favourite people. These girls literally changed my entire summer. Without them life would be incredibly boring. Forever grateful to Mr Harry Styles for bringing these girls into my life. Also far too excited for My Policeman to be released. I adore the book and have no doubt the film is gonna just as incredible.
Some of these girls are now the best people in my life. I adore them.
I went to visit one of my closest friends for her birthday. Which was lovely as I had not seen them in forever.
I turned 23 and my gorgeous cousin came to Brighton to see me. Our weekend was full of lots of laughter and the realisation we have a lot in common. This was the first of what would be monthly reunions.
I celebrated my birthday with the wonderful people of Bird and Blend Tea Co in Brighton. If you know me you will know I utterly adore their stuff.
I also got to celebrate my birthday with my favourite girls and also a couple of my old college friends, who it turns out when they want to be can be the nicest guys and I might not always say it but I am ridiculously grateful for them.
We celebrated my gorgeous cousins birthday. We had an afternoon brunch in London with a lot of prosecco and a whole lot of laughter. Resulting in the second monthly meet up and one of my favourite photos ever because it sums up the whole day… a lot of laughter and a very concerned human.
I then also changed my hair colour again and spent the rest of my weekend having the best time with my Keely. It turns out that we basically have the same energy and around each other are literally insane but it was a weekend full of laughter and well what more could you want.
I also finally (slightly late) graduated. St Mary’s was despite its ups and downs some of the best memories of my life. I have so many people to be grateful for from my uni experience and although we could not all be there together, I am so proud of every single one of us. St Mary’s taught me a lot of life lessons but also introduced me to some of the most important people in my life.
I moved out of Brighton and moved back home for a while. Although this was not originally part of the plan I obviously had to be at home for some reason. A firm believer in everything happens for a reason.
I got to spend a week with my crazy university friends. We decided that since we spent so long apart from each other due to the pandemic a little staycation to Norwich for the week was exactly what we needed. I had forgotten how much I love each and everyone of the weirdos new and old. It was like no time had past and they are some of my favourite people. It was also lovely to explore a new area.
I celebrated turning 23 a little late with my mumma as we went to see the Musical brunch and it was incredible.
I moved out again.
We went to see Olly Murs… what a weekend that was. This would be monthly reunion number 3. We had a months break but reunited in the only the best possible way. I have said it once and I will say it again this right here is my human. Sometimes cousins make the best friends. Especially when they are as crazy as you.
I visited the Harry Potter photo Exhibition in Covent Garden which was such a cool experience.
I dyed my hair… again. This time we went for a red and black for Halloween and Winter.
We went pumpkin picking and to Shocktober another weekend full of laughter and quite frankly pure insanity. Another monthly catch up this time just a little more festive.
My sister gave birth to my gorgeous niece and she is just the cutest. I am so proud and my heart is very very full.
We went into Norwich for a Bird and Blend tea event and stopped to visit my best friends cousin, who I adore. It was a lovely day of lunching and drinking.
I reunited with some of my favourite people this month. Starting of with my Abbie not only did we finally get to see eachother again… we also went to see Mcfly and it was incredible.
At the end of the month I went back into London to grab coffee with Bradley who happened to be one of my first friends at university and you know when you have been apart from someone for so long that you expect things to be different, this was not one of those times. Honestly it was like no time had past at all and it was one of the best days I have had in a long time.
The last monthly reunion of the year and I had the best time ever. This year I am incredibly grateful for our friendship. I mean I am always grateful for our friendship but it has very much blossomed this year.
We went to see a panto on the 23rd of December another Christmas tradition I love.
Happy New Year may 2022 bring you love, laughter and be full of a little magic xoxo
I cannot wait to see what 2022 brings. What is your favourite memory of 2021?
